Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande has made it clear he would rather join Paris St-Germain than Liverpool. The talented young player currently plays for RB Leipzig, but PSG are working hard to sign him.

Why PSG Is the Preferred Destination

Diomande is excited about the chance to play in Ligue 1 and work with PSG’s star-studded squad. Liverpool had also shown interest, but the winger’s heart is set on France. Here’s what makes PSG attractive:

  • Chance to play alongside top players
  • Strong French league exposure
  • Ambitious club project

Liverpool’s Interest Falls Short

Liverpool had been tracking Diomande for months, hoping to add him to their attack. However, the player’s preference for PSG has put them on the back foot. The Reds now need to look at other targets for their wing positions.

RB Leipzig Ready to Negotiate

RB Leipzig are open to selling the winger if the right offer comes in. PSG are expected to make a formal bid soon. Key points of the deal:

  • Transfer fee still being discussed
  • Personal terms already talked over
  • Medical could be scheduled quickly

What This Means for the Transfer Window

If PSG finalize the deal, Diomande will become another exciting young talent in their squad. For Liverpool, it’s a missed opportunity, but the team has other options to strengthen their attack.
